Benicia Mini Maker Faire has come and gone. 6 months of planning and so much work by our organizers and volunteers, and it all comes down to 6 hours of hands-on learning fun for all ages. What makes it worth it is all the smiling faces and people learning about a new project that they might want to make for themselves. If you were one of those people, be sure to share your experience on social media. That will help us spread the word about next year’s event.
I want to take a moment to thank all our dedicated volunteers. Over 40 people volunteered part of their day to help setup, organize and clean up after the event. The leadership club from Benicia High School and the volunteers from Liberty High School were especially helpful. Also, I wanted especially thank our photographer Kyle Awayan who made the fantastic video you see in this post.
I also want to thank all our wonderful sponsors this year. Without them this event would not be possible. If you visit one of these businesses, consider taking a moment to thank them for their support. Also, if you know an individual or company that would be interested in sponsoring next year, please contact us and let us know.
The feedback we have received so far has been fantastic, but we would like you opinion. If you haven’t already, please take a minute and fill out our brief survey about your visit.
